We’ve received permission to take the COOP trailer to the Salem Ham Fair on the 16th.
Just like Swaptoberfest, that means we’ll need some manpower (or womanpower) to help with the transportation and setup on Friday afternoon, and we’ll need to staff the trailer to talk to visitors during the day on Saturday, and finally to deactivate it on Saturday afternoon.
This is an opportunity both for us to show our facilities, and to potentially recruit new members for the group, which is becoming increasingly important to fulfullment of our mission.
In the next day, we’ll be setting a staffing schedule for each of these activities. We will always have one of the leadership team, including our State Communications Officer, on duty to talk with people, but we’d like to make sure that there are several members in the trailer at any one time in order to talk with visitors.
